Why we created thrae

Fed up with itchy, hot, uncomfortable and irresponsibly produced bed sheets, we decided to take matters into our own hands and create bed sheets that provided us with all the things we needed to get amazing sleep. Cooling, breathable, ultra soft, lightweight and sustainably produced, Tencel bed sheets ticked all the boxes for us and we haven't looked back since. Getting quality sleep has become so normal for us that we couldn't think of sleeping in anything other than Tencel and to share that feeling with as many of you as possible!

What makes our product unique?

thrae Tencel bed sheets are responsibly made from 100% eucalyptus wood pulp and sourced from FSC and PEFC certified forests. These bed sheets are made in the most environmentally friendly process currently available. Due to the natural fibres, thrae bedsheets are gentle on your skin and perfectly adjust to your body temperature, so you sleep comfortably all night long. Lastly, these sheets are soft and keep getting softer after every wash.

A little bit about our directors

Maddy - Director

I currently work as a professional development coach at lululemon. Striving to make people better through my work is the foundation of why we created thrae and why we have set up our brand to not only sell amazing sheets, but to help people become the best version of themselves through quality sleep advice and products.

I have also completed multiple Ironman triathlons (including Hawaii Ironman), multiple marathons and enjoy spending time with my our, Julian, arts and crafts, music and socialising in my spare time.

Morgan - Director

I am a Strength and Conditioning coach, Personal Trainer and Run/Triathlon coach with 15 years experience in the industry. I love seeing the improvement in my clients lives through exercise and have learned over the years that sleep, and great quality sleep especially, along with exercise, are the foundation of performing your best in every aspect of life. I'm so proud that we can share our knowledge of optimal sleep through thrae and help people become better versions of themselves with our products. 

I have also completed multiple Ironman triathlons, ultra endurance running races, obstacle course races and enjoying spending time with our son, Julian, golf, reading and gardening in my spare time.

thrae is an anagram of the word Earth. We care about you, about the earth and about how you feel. Our sheets are designed to feel amazing and to help give you a great night's sleep, with as little impact on the environment as possible.

We are on a mission to create high quality products that we are proud of, products that we want in our lives and that we would want all of our friends and family to have.

It's what is behind these sheets that we fell in love with. There is so much innovation and forward thinking built into the creation of our Tencel Lyocell fabric, that we want to celebrate and spread the word. It is a fabric of the future that we all can enjoy and embrace now.
